Australian specialty coffee roaster ‘TOBY’S ESTATE’, which joined UCC Group in 2022, was awarded as the “No.1 coffee shop in “THE WORLD’S 100 BEST COFFEE SHOPS 2025” hosted by the coffee event “Coffee Fest” held in Madrid, Spain on February 17.
‘TOBY’S ESTATE’ was founded in 2001 and is a pioneering brand of specialty coffee roasters in Australia. The company is committed to taste, consistency, and treating everyone from farmers to baristas around the world like family. In addition to the cafe business, it manufactures and sells fresh coffee for B2B and B2C, sells and rents coffee machines, and operates 73 stores in 8 countries worldwide. It is a well-known specialty coffee brand in Australia.
The company joined UCC Group in 2022 when UCC Group acquired all of its shares. “THE WORLD’S 100 BEST COFFEE SHOPS 2025” is an event that evaluates 14,000 cafes worldwide by coffee enthusiasts, specialty coffee experts, and industry professionals to find shops that provide excellent coffee experiences in every aspect. Specific evaluation criteria include coffee quality, barista expertise, customer service, store ambience and atmosphere, food and pastry quality, as well as innovation and sustainability practices. ‘TOBY’S ESTATE’ is an experiential-based venue breaking down the walls between the customer and the barista for a coffee experience like no other and offers a unique experience that allows customers to witness the meticulous attention to detail that goes into crafting their amazing brews.
